How to Find Your Bra Size in Pakistan — A Complete Guide

Getting your bra size right changes everything — comfort, posture, and how your clothes fit. Yet most women in Pakistan are wearing the wrong size without knowing it. In this guide, we'll show you exactly how to measure yourself at home and find your correct bra size.

Why Bra Sizing Matters

A bra that's too tight compresses the ribcage and causes back and shoulder pain. One that's too loose provides no support and shifts throughout the day. Studies suggest that over 70% of women wear the wrong bra size — and most are wearing a band that's too large and cups that are too small.

What You'll Need

A soft measuring tape — the kind used for sewing. If you don't have one, use a piece of string and a ruler.

Step 1 — Measure Your Under-Bust

Wrap the tape firmly around your ribcage, just below your bust. Keep it level and snug — but not tight enough to dig in. Note this number in centimetres. This gives you your band size.

  • 68–72 cm → Band size 32
  • 73–77 cm → Band size 34
  • 78–82 cm → Band size 36
  • 83–87 cm → Band size 38
  • 88–92 cm → Band size 40
  • 93–97 cm → Band size 42

Step 2 — Measure Your Full Bust

Measure around the fullest part of your chest, keeping the tape parallel to the floor. Let it rest gently — don't pull it tight. Note this number in centimetres.

Step 3 — Calculate Your Cup Size

Subtract your under-bust from your full bust. The difference tells you your cup size.

  • Less than 10 cm → Cup A
  • 10–12 cm → Cup B
  • 13–15 cm → Cup C
  • 16 cm or more → Cup D

So if your under-bust is 78 cm (band 36) and your full bust is 91 cm (difference 13 cm), your size is 36C.

Pakistan vs International Sizing

Pakistan follows UK sizing conventions for bras. If you're comparing with a US brand, the band numbers are the same. For European brands, add 15 to your band number — so a Pakistani/UK 34 is a European 75.

Signs Your Bra Doesn't Fit

Band riding up at the back — your band is too large. Go down a band size.
Straps digging into shoulders — the band isn't supporting enough. Try a smaller band.
Cups overflowing or wrinkling — your cup size is wrong. Overflow means go up; wrinkling means go down.
Centre gore not lying flat — your cups are too small.
